Junkyard

When junk turns into love

The Junkyard, founded in 2016, is almost fresh. The scrap yard where you meet your friends, listen to music, hang out and nobody annoys you, but art and good vibes set the tone. At least that's what the Home of Freaks initiative had in mind when they opened the scrap yard on Dortmund's Schlägelstraße and it looks like they stayed true to their manifesto. A place like this attracts magically with its unembellished scrap yard aura and ennobles every sweaty concert with a patina of rust and roughness.
