Live Mu­sic Hall

Since 1990, the Live Music Hall has closed the gap between the small and too large locations in Ehrenfeld, with space for up to 1,800 people in the concert hall. Here, you can see the more popular bands without having to endure a stadium atmosphere. Every so often, there are recordings of the legendary “Rockpalast” TV programmes here, as well as a broad spectrum of regular parties, from “Pop-Live”, which is oriented to the dance hits, to two well-known metal parties. The music at the “Rockgarden” is hard, but anyone wanting an even harder sound can visit the “Cowboys from Hell Night” and enjoy grindcore, death and thrash metal. Here, not only the popular bands are played, the lesser known bands get their fair share as well . The spectrum of this concert venue is broad, ranging from the academic reggae of Groundation to experimental rock from Warpaint, hip hop from Bushido or Samy Deluxe. It’s always worth taking a look at the programme of events.
